Uncle Henry’s award winning cafe is run by Katie and her team. The cafe serves home-made dishes which are freshly prepared by our talented kitchen team, led by Michelle.
As Select Lincolnshire members we source and use a wide range of home-grown and Lincolnshire products on our menu. Many of our dishes are created using seasonal ingredients grown on our farm or produced from our own pigs in the butchery. If you like what you have tried in the cafe, many of the products we use in our meals can also be found in the farm shop, butchery and deli for you to enjoy at home.
Our menu includes breakfasts which are served daily until 11:30am. A popular option is “The Works” breakfast which includes our award winning BBC One Show Lincolnshire Sausage; so tasty it is something we have become known for!
Our lunch menu includes jacket potatoes, homemade quiches, ciabattas, and homemade soups. This is served until 4pm Monday to Saturday (except during January when it is served until 3.30pm) and our homemade cakes are available until the cafe closes at 4.30pm. We also have a specials board which changes daily and is served until 2:30pm. Specials often include homemade steak & ale pie served with seasonal vegetables, a trio of our best selling sausages with creamy mashed potato or Fresh Grimsby beer battered haddock and chips but change on a daily basis. The cafe is also fully licensed and the outside courtyard is dog friendly.
Afternoon tea is a customer favourite, our delicious selection of cakes are baked on site by us. We promise they will have you coming back for more! Our afternoon tea is served on traditional tea stands and we offer a celebration option served with Prosecco. We are coffee enthusiasts and our barista style coffee machine uses the best quality beans to create great tasting coffee.
We are happy to cater for food allergies and intolerances and we have a specific gluten free menu available. Our team are more than happy to discuss your requirements and cater for your needs.
On Sunday’s we offer Sunday Lunch from 12pm-2:30pm. Our example Sunday lunch menu can be viewed online and always features our award winning roast pork and locally sourced roast beef with all the trimmings.
In the winter you can enjoy tea, coffee and cakes by the log fire in our lounge and in the summer you can relax outside on the decking by the water fountain.
In the outside courtyard there is a small playhouse for young children to enjoy and is also dog friendly or a farm trail for older energetic children to explore. Our Farmers Den play area, located outside the main entrance is suitable for children aged up to 16 years old and includes a pedal tractor track which runs the full perimeter of the play area. This surface is suitable for push chairs and disabled access. Hattie our Shire horse alongside her mum Annie can usually be found close by and loves getting attention from all the families that visit us.
