School Visits
We put a great deal of effort into educating our future generation and Uncle Henry’s hosts up to 30 school visits per year. We really enjoy teaching local children more about where their food comes from.
Visiting Uncle Henry’s farm is an experience that will give your class inspiration and information about parts of the curriculum that are sometimes difficult to teach in a classroom environment.
Nicky is our qualified educational co-ordinator within Uncle Henry’s and she will host your visit from start to finish. The visits are based around our farm and our walled garden however we work closely with you during the visits planning stages to tailor the days schedule to meet your needs and learning outcomes.
The visit allows children to see for themselves how a modern farm works, in an enjoyable and safe environment. Visits are FREE for school children up to 16 years and run from March until October.
