21/03/20 Update:

Dear Customers,

Following the Government announcement made on 20th March, the Uncle Henry's cafe, play area and conference facility is now closed until further notice.

Our farm shop and butchery reamin open 9:30am-5pm Monday-Saturday and 10-4pm on Sundays.

We have introduced further measures to reduce our risks: we are now only accepting card payments, there is a limit on four customers in the shop at any one time and customer toilets are now closed.

See details in our original statement below for additional services we are providing during this time.

Thank you for your support during this difficult time,

The Uncle Henry's Team.

Original statement - 18/03/20

Dear Customers,

We are all thinking about our families and friends at this unprecedented time, particularly the old and vulnerable. We are also concerned for our own workforce across Uncle Henry’s and our farm and of course, you our customers.

At the moment, we remain open and we wanted to take this opportunity to write to you to let you know what we are doing to keep everyone safe and to try and support our community during this time of need.

We have been keeping up to date with government advice, following guidance from Public Health England and the World Health Organisation. In particular, our team are taking extra care through minimising physical contact and washing their hands regularly. Our front of house service teams have started to wear gloves to heighten their awareness and we are performing enhanced daily cleaning routines.

Our café currently remains open and we are fortunate to have various dining spaces allowing us to seat groups away from each other where practically possible. With Mother’s Day around the corner, we are offering a take away high tea for people to enjoy at home.

Shop & Butchery

Supermarkets and food shops across the country have been busy with customers choosing to stock up. At present, we have very good stock levels and are continuing to be able to serve our customers well. We have ordered more stock of essential items and have deliveries arriving daily. Our kitchen team are focused on food production for the shop and butchery counters.

We are also trying to source additional essential items to add to our range such as toilet roll and hand sanitisers – we will keep you update via social media if and when these become available.

In order to help those who are more vulnerable, from this week we have also introduced additional services:

  1. Home delivery service – please click here for further information.
  2. Call and collect service- please click here for further information.
  3. Personal shopping slots bookable daily at 9:00am or 9:15am – please click here for further information on how to book.

We thank you for your continued support at this time.

The Uncle Henry’s Team
