The team have won over 100 awards, including BBC One Show’s Best Sausage with our Lincolnshire Sausage.
Our award achievements in 2019 include being recognised as Lincolnshire Co-op “Supplier of the Year 2019 and also during UK Sausage Week 2019 we acheived Best Independent Butcher: England: North East Traditional Award Category for our Lincolnshire Sausage.
Our proudest achievement in 2018 is being awarded a 3-star Great Taste award, which means the product was described by judges as extraordinarily tasty for our home reared Pork Leg Joint and a 1-star Great Taste award, which means judges dubbed it a food that delivers fantastic flavour for our Lincolnshire Sausages! All of our pork is home-reared on our farm from our Hampshire Breed pigs, a breed which is renowned for its fantastic eating quality. We source beef, lamb, poultry and game from local farmers and butcher it ourselves on site.
We cure and smoke our own delicious bacon and hams in the traditional dry-cured way. Our sausages are our butchers’ speciality with over 8 varieties on the counter at any one time. Our customer's favourites include our Red Arrow sausage (chilli, sundried tomato and garlic) and also Chicken, Sage and Onion.
We also produce many speciality products such as stuffed mushrooms and traditional black pudding which are unique to us.
Our butchery team are always happy to help with special customer requests and give you advice on the best quality cuts and cooking advice to suit your dish.
